Vgp-vcc2 Driver For Mac
Has anyone found a 64 bit Vista driver for the “USB VID05CA&PID1830” VCC2? I'm in the same position of not having that driver too. Have you tried hacking the INF for the VCC3 or 4 to force it since the VCC2 is based off the same Ricoh R5U870 OEM chip so even though they might be slightly different, the core features should still work the same?
Hp photosmart essential msi. I accidentally installed a shared library from Sony and I think it might have been a 32-bit version. Now, my laptop hangs when waking up from sleep mode which happens alot on a laptop that's set to sleep after a few minutes on battery. Unfortunately, Sony's software packages don't have an uninstall feature (how stupid is that). I even asked Sony tech if there was a way to uninstall it but they said I'd have to restore my computer to factory to do that.
Thus, I've reloaded Vista 64-bit from scratch again so that I don't have the problem anymore. Click to expand.Imaging software is your friend here: something like Symantec Ghost or Acronis True Image.
I've heard more good things about Acronis but they should both work. Essentially, once you've got the basic system working how you want with all the fiddling drivers installed and working, just make yourself an image on DVD(s) and you'll be able to put it all back if you need to later, without going through the faff of each individual install. I'll be doing the same when I eventually stop procrastinating and actually buy a new laptop. I downloaded the 'un-official' 64-bit ricoh drivers from Sony.com, and modified the inf file to match the 1830 PID.
I then replaced the 64kb.sys file with the one from the given 32-bit drivers on the esupport page. Though the drivers successfully installed, the camera still does not work. All i get is a blank screen. ( so much for the effort ). I've also downloaded all the available drivers for ricoh cameras, i.e., from vgp-vcc2 to vcc 8, for all OS's. I'll try and replace the.sys files.
Will keep you posted. Anyways, your guide is truly awesome.
