I recommend far and away over FTM or MacFamilyTree if you are serious about your genealogy. FTM - I have followed its development for nearly 20 years and have never been a fan of FTM. One of the biggest issues with +FTM for Mac+ is there is no conversion utility, and using GEDCOM for migration from other genealogy software apps is not adequate. It's also tied to ancestry.com. Ok for a beginner. MacFamilyTree - graphics are flashy but kinda meaningless. I don't like the floating panels.
The Matias Tactile Pro Keyboard is built from the same premium key switch technology that Apple used in its original Apple Extended Keyboard, widely viewed as the best keyboard Apple ever made. Mac users who crave the feel of the legendary Apple Extended Keyboard will love the Tactile Pro. Just like an Apple keyboard, the Mini Tactile Pro’s function keys let you control screen brightness, volume, iTunes, and more. There's even an Fn key, that lets you momentarily change the function keys back to their traditional duties, when you need them.
Weak on sources. I wouldn't use it, period. Reunion - strong history of releases, features & support on Mac platforms. Feature set is well thought out, and the UI is very nice.

Very strong on citations and sources. Conversion from other genealogy software is thorough. I switched to Reunion a few years ago and am very happy with it. MacFamilyTree and Reunion have free trials, so I recommend starting there. Check each one out to see how it feels for you. You won't be able to do the same with Family Tree Maker for Mac, but you could check in at your local genealogy society and Mac users group to see if anyone there can give you a quick demo. You can also see all these programs and more in instructional videos on my site, GenealogyTools.com.
They each have very different workflows so using them or at least seeing them in action will help you discover which one best fits your needs. If you know what features you require, be sure to see the comparison of Mac Genealogy software that I publish as well. Best regards, -Ben @.
