You will need to resync them with the 'receiver' of the keyboard and mouse. There is a unit that plugs into the computer itself, on that unit is a button that you use to resync the two devices. On each device, on the bottom (it should be on the bottom for sure, on the keyboard it may be on the side, but I am quite certain it's on the bottom) there is a button that you press to resync with that receiver.

On the bottom of your keyboard it will have instructions for how to do it, but you should be able to hit the button on the keyboard, then the button on the receiver, then hit the button on the mouse (and maybe the button on the receiver another time depending on the instructions) to get them all synced back together. If it doesn't work just keep trying the buttons back and forth between the receiver and the keyboard / mouse until they sync up, sometimes it takes a few tries. This is definitely the issue though, and by pressing those buttons (follow the instructions on the bottom of the keyboard first) you will get them back up and running.
