Civilization 4 1.74 No-cd Crack For Mac
I've installed Civilization 4 from the cd (somehow) and since then have run into the issue of not being able to run the program! I've installed the necessary drivers (I believe!) and the patch, also installed the no-cd crack to bypass the whole copyright protection thing that's going on. Now when I run the program, a program bar on the bottom pops up saying 'Starting Cid Meyers Civilization 4' and then it closes. No action after that.

I've restarted the computer, believing that possibly an old install shield was up, still nothing. The steps I took (in order) 1.) Installed Civ 4 from the cd. 2.) Downloaded d3dx926.dll, msxml3.dll, and msxml3r.dll to the windows/system32 folder through wine 3.) Updated Civilization 4 to patch 1.74 4.) Installed no-cd crack. And now when I run the program, no action gets taken! Am I missing something here? Am I missing something here? What video card and video driver do you have installed?
Probably the only combination that is likely to work is a modern nvidia card and the nvidia proprietary driver. Also, refer to the rest of the instructions in this stickied thread.
